Fiery Meat Eater’s Delight

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 4 steaks (1 pound each)

Instructions

  1. Combine oil, lime juice, and Tabasco pepper sauce in a shallow, non-aluminum dish. Stir in wine, dry mustard, salt, and herbs.
  2. Let steaks stand in marinade for five hours, turning once.
