Steak Soup
Ingredients
- 1 pound Round Steak minced
- 1 cup Butter or Margarine, or Olive Oil
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 Medium Onion
- 3 large Carrots Chopped
- 3 stalks Celery chopped
- 1 can Tomatoes chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 cup Cream
- 3 quarts Beef Stock
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown meat in butter, stir in flour till smooth.
- Add onion, carrot, celery; cook 10 min. Stirring often.
- Add remaining ingredients except cream, bring to a boil.
- Simmer 1-3 hrs. (longer the better).
- Add cream last 5 minutes.
