Steak Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Round Steak minced
  • 1 cup Butter or Margarine, or Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 3 large Carrots Chopped
  • 3 stalks Celery chopped
  • 1 can Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup Cream
  • 3 quarts Beef Stock
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown meat in butter, stir in flour till smooth.
  2. Add onion, carrot, celery; cook 10 min. Stirring often.
  3. Add remaining ingredients except cream, bring to a boil.
  4. Simmer 1-3 hrs. (longer the better).
  5. Add cream last 5 minutes.
