Sunday Dinner Beef Roast
Ingredients
- 3-4 pounds Rump, Pot or Chuck Roast
- 2 cloves Fresh garlic, peeled sliced
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper ground
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Dry white wine
- 3 medium Red potatoes peeled and chopped
- 2 large Carrot sliced
- 1 large Yellow onion peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon Fresh parsley minced
- 1 teaspoon Fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon Thyme minced
Instructions
- Using a small knife, make several slits all over the roast.
- Insert slices of garlic into each slit.
- Rub the outside of the roast with the salt and pepper.
- Place in the Crock-Pot® slow cooker and add the remaining ingredients.
- Cover.
- Cook on Low 10 to 12 hours (or on High for 5 to 6 hours).
- Remove the roast and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
