Beef /Vegetable Stir-fry
Ingredients
- 1 beef,, top round steak
- 1-1/2 broccoli, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3 carrots, bias cut
- 1 cornstarch
- 1 salt
- 1/2 sugar
- 2 soy sauce
- 2 dry sherry
- 2 cooking oil
- 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
- 1/2 frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 chestnuuts, drained and thinly sliced
- 1/2 bamboo shoots halved lengthwise
- deep-fried rice sticks or hot cooked rice
Instructions
- Partially freeze beef, slice very thinly across the grain into bite-size strips.
